Feature Article Writing – Discover 3 Effective Feature Article …

Are you thinking about writing your first feature article? Well, although this task is a bit challenging compare to writing simple web articles, you can make it a lot easier and doable if you follow these effective tips:

1. Choose your topics. You need to find topics that will grab the attention of your target audience. As you’re writing a feature article, it’s important that your topic is extra-ordinary or very special. You can look into current issues on a deeper level and target particular angles that your readers will find very interesting. For example, if you’re serving those people who are interested in knowing issues regarding the recent global crisis, you can cover stories of families whose lives were dramatically changed by this particular issue. Through this, you can easily engage your readers as they might be able to relate with your stories.

2. Don’t be too uptight. Remember, you’re not writing for newspaper so it’s okay if you write your feature articles using engaging writing style. I recommend that you use conversational, friendly tone. It’s okay to use humor that is appropriate to your chosen topics. If possible, insert relevant images and quotes that will surely capture the attention of your target readers.

3. Offer in-depth information. It’s okay if you make your articles lengthy. Your target readers are usually those people who would be happy to spend several minutes or even hours in reading feature articles. Offer complete, in-depth information to easily educate these people. Just make sure though that your content is tight and that it doesn’t contain fillers.
